What You're Watching
The video follows a bearing cap through the full Brush Plating repair sequence:
1. The starting point: The component arrives with visible surface wear and damage, the kind of scoring or degradation that would typically call for a full replacement part.
2. Copper Brush Plating build-up Using our proprietary Brush Plating process, our technician applies controlled layers of copper directly onto the damaged surface. You can see the applicator moving steadily over the worn area, rebuilding it layer by layer, with the surrounding surface left completely untouched.
3. Nickel capping and finishing Once the copper build-up restores the surface to its correct dimensions, a thin nickel capping layer is applied on top. This gives the component its smooth, corrosion-resistant, as-new metallic finish.
4. The result A component that started the video worn and damaged ends it fully restored, ready to go back into service.
